Email Marketing is still effective. Sunkist and UDM collaborated on a sweepstakes campaign to grow their recipe content. Our goal was to use the UGC (user-generated content) method to digitize content. As the world was moving to a new digital era, we wanted to be the #1 source for recipes to drive not only more sales of their products but to also provide future customers with an entry point to Sunkist that wasn't intrusive. We concluded that creating an entertainment value/competition was the fastest way for users to willing to create content.
